A Message From Our FounderSince 1999, I began to use the WD brand to represent my name to provide high-quality bearings and professional services to customers around the world. In August of 2000, we founded WD with four of my relatives. Throughout more than 20 years of honest management and hard work, we have gained the trust and support of many customers, established deep friendships and long-term cooperation, and established joint ventures with Korean and Italian partners.
Early in our journey, we genuinely believed we could build a team with excellent values and professional capabilities. With this belief, we established three core ideas for competitiveness in world-class service, pursuit of excellence in R&D, and lean operation. Today, we have seen how the adoption of these values and professional capabilities have propelled the success of WD Bearing Group forward and fostered our relationships with every customer.
Combining WD’s development history and business characteristics, we extensively gathered opinions from the team and determined that WD’s core values include three points:

As a proud US Army veteran with a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Purdue University, I bring over 30 years of experience in engineering, application, and design within the bearing industry. My education was further enriched by pursuing master's level courses in business administration at the Wharton School of Business, enhancing my strategic and leadership skills.
Currently serving as the President for the North American and European companies, I focus on leadership and strategic direction. I am certified through the Bearing Specialist Association (BSA), where I acted as a technical consultant for the Educational Services Committee. I have conducted specialized training for industries such as the Rocky Mountain Ski Lift Association (RMLA) and Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA).
My professional contributions have included significant projects such as the rebuilding of the World Trade Center and the development of components used on a Mars Rover. Dedicated to excellence, I leverage my extensive technical and business expertise to drive success and innovation across our industry.
