Gathering Momentum for a New Chapter: CBIA Chairman Attends WD's 2026 Kick-off Ceremony

At the beginning of the 2026 Lunar New Year, WD held its 2026 Kick-off Ceremony, marking the official start of a new year of high-quality development. Mr. Yu Zhou, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association (CBIA), was invited to attend the ceremony and deliver a keynote address.

On behalf of the Association, Chairman Zhou extended New Year greetings to all employees and shared an overview of the industry's 2025 performance. He noted that the industry is transitioning from scale-driven competition to quality-oriented development, and from cost-driven growth to technology-driven innovation. Rapid growth in emerging sectors such as robotics, high-end equipment, and new energy is increasing demand for high-performance and highly reliable bearing solutions.

He also acknowledged WD's sustained focus on high-end development, its continued efforts in key bearing segments, and its proactive expansion into the robotics sector, highlighting the company's clear strategic direction and strong commitment to long-term growth.

During the ceremony, Mr. Cheng, CEO of WD, addressed employees and outlined the company's priorities for 2026. He emphasized that in an increasingly competitive and cost-sensitive market environment, long-term success depends not on external conditions, but on strategic focus and disciplined execution.

In 2026, WD will focus on two key priorities:

first, strengthening performance leadership in RNN, CRB and roller bearing solutions;

second, advancing capabilities in robotics and precision automation applications.

Mr. Cheng also stressed the importance of three core mindsets for all employees — perseverance, continuous improvement, and a competitive drive — encouraging the team to pursue excellence and enhance professional capabilities.
